These leaded medicine cabinet doors are a collaborative effort between myself and the client. It was important to compliment an adjacent leaded window in the bathroom as well as a massive set of historic windows viewed walking up the stairs (pictured below – note: I did not make these).
We used milky white glass for the center diamonds and two types of antique glass for the outer diamonds and top/bottom borders. The watery ripple was salvaged from an old panel that was so filthy I didn’t know what it really looked like until after cleaning. The tightly rippled antique glass (seen below with powder on it) is something I haven’t come across before and only had just enough for this project. Very happy with this overall!
