Window restoration

I purchased this old window from Vickis Vintage. And while it did have that old look many people covet, restoration was foremost on my mind. After removing the original glass and  stripping the wood, I found a fitting stain and tried mirror at first (pictured). However, it didn’t give me that ‘pop’ I was looking for. I found a sheet of pressed glass with a textured vintage pattern laying around (waiting for a home) and bingo. To compliment the stain, I used deep amber antique glass for the top/bottom triangle accents. They really come to life when the sun shines through. Ready to hang or install. 22″x16″. $175.00. Currently on display at K.DiResta Design. See more of this textured glass in a picture frame here.
