I own a limited print of the painting ‘Felix – Soliloquay’ by Don Oriolo (Felix the Cats’s creators son) and used it as my template. iPhone pic and scissors. Measuring 11.5 x 12.5 I used a band say to carve the tight angles and used as few pieces as possible. Originally, I wanted to cut a panel of clear glass with the band saw (left/right) for the background (pictured), to fit Felix’s outline, but it was trickier than expected. I opted instead to do it in thirds. Notice the bottom panel is one piece left to right. The antique blue glass was given to me and the textured clear came from the now retired Stained Glass Workshop. Looks great in a window and appears black & clear at night.
